Mosul Studies Center Attends Opening of the 12th International Scientific Conference of the College of Arts, University of Mosul

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and as part of the Center’s efforts to encourage faculty participation in the scientific and academic activities of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Maha Saeed Hameed and Assistant Professor Dr. Arouba Jameel Mahmoud, faculty members in the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Center, attended the opening ceremony of the 12th International Scientific Conference organized by the College of Arts, University of Mosul, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai. The conference, entitled “Humanities and Social Studies in Artificial Intelligence: Towards Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” will run from December 17-18, 2025. The Mosul Studies Center’s attendance at the opening session, held in the Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall, reflects its participation in the conference, represented by the aforementioned faculty members. The conference aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 5, and 8. 11 and 17.
