Organizational Structure

The organizational structure of the University of Mosul represents a comprehensive administrative and academic framework designed to ensure operational efficiency and coordination among the university’s various components. It consists of the University Council and the Presidency, supported by Vice Presidents for Administrative and Academic Affairs, in addition to a network of specialized administrative departments such as Finance, Planning, Audit, Reconstruction, Legal Affairs, and Student Affairs.

The structure also includes scientific, research, and service centers that support both teaching and research activities, alongside a wide range of colleges covering diverse disciplines in medicine, engineering, sciences, humanities, and the arts. This organizational framework reflects a high degree of flexibility in managing academic and human resources, thereby reinforcing the university’s mission as a leading educational and research institution at both the national and international levels.
