Follow-up Division
Follow-up Division is tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Preparing monthly reports to track all contracts related to the projects of the investment plan, and submitting them to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Construction and Projects / Follow-up Section by the end of each month.
2. Preparing the Achievement Platform forms for investment plan projects and submitting them to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Construction and Projects / Follow-up Section by the end of each month.
3. Preparing the annual data update form for investment plan projects and submitting it to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research annually.
4. Preparing quarterly reports (every three months) for investment plan projects, along with projects outside the plan (such as the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations and Governorate Projects), and sending them to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
5. Preparing monthly reports for projects funded by Nineveh Governorate and submitting them to the following departments: (Nineveh Governorate / Planning Assistance / Reconstruction Fund Team – Regional and Local Development Directorate / Nineveh Planning Directorate – Nineveh Governorate / Reconstruction Assistance / Project Management Department). These reports are submitted by the end of each month.
6. Preparing updated monthly status forms for projects (Regional Development – Food Security – Stability Support) and submitting them to Nineveh Governorate / Planning Assistance / Planning Department / Plans and Follow-up Preparation Section by the 25th of each month.
7. Preparing a schedule listing the contractors with delays and those whose deviation percentages have been addressed, and submitting it to Nineveh Governorate / Reconstruction Assistance / Committee for Listing Delayed Contractors in the Delayed Projects List by the 25th of each month.
8. Preparing a schedule of projects within the governorate’s and ministry’s plans, executed at the University of Mosul, that are delayed, and submitting it to Nineveh Governorate / Office of the Deputy Governor for Reconstruction by the 25th of each month.
9. Preparing schedules for Higher Education Fund projects and submitting them to the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department / Higher Education Fund Section at the end of each month.
10. The Follow-up Division is also responsible for responding to all inquiries from external entities, excluding the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, such as the Ministry of Planning, the Audit Department, etc.
11. Conducting field visits to projects to assess the actual progress and follow up on the work stages.
12. Monitoring the total monthly expenditure for investment plan projects in coordination with the Investment Plan Accounts Section.
13. Tracking additional, newly introduced, or removed works, as well as extended durations for each project, documenting them in the specific forms for each project, and updating them periodically.
14. Monitoring project progress (planned, actual, financial) and components, and identifying any deviations to determine their causes and provide solutions and recommendations.
15. Submitting reports on the National Strategic Education Projects (2022-2031) to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research by the end of each month.
16. Preparing urgent tables requested by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research concerning completed projects over a certain period, investment budget, project coordinates, and spatial development gap reports throughout the year.
17. Aligning investment plan projects with the Iraqi Development Management System (IDMS) in coordination with the project teams.
