In the context of scientific cooperation between the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM) in Ankara and Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul, a Turkish delegation headed by Dr. Bilgay Duman and Mr. Feyzullah Tuna Aygün paid an official visit to the University of Mosul on Sunday, December 13, 2020.The delegation met first with Assist. Prof. Dr. Luqman Omar Mahmood Al-Nuaimi, Director of the Regional Studies Center, then with Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Taha Salem Al-Badrani. During the meeting, they discussed the activation of scientific and academic cooperation mechanisms between the two Centers and the conduct of joint workshops aimed at strengthening Iraqi-Turkish cooperation in various fields; giving Nineveh Governorate great importance within those workshops and symposiums beside the possibility of providing studies and research on reconstruction projects, infrastructure, investment, and other details discussed in that fruitful scientific meeting. At the end of the meeting, a group of publications of Regional Studies Center was presented to the visiting delegation.
