Regional Studies Center Symposium on the Role of Education in Building and Developing Societies
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, the Department of Public Policies at Regional Studies Center, in cooperation with the College of Education for Girls and the College of Basic Education, held the international scientific electronic symposium titled (the Role of Education in Building and Developing Societies) on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
The symposium reviewed several research papers that came in two sessions, the first session included:
– The right to education
– Equality in education and its impact on enhancing the role of the individual
– Education and sustainable development for 2030
The second session included:
– Education in light of the Coronavirus pandemic
– The importance of electronic education in light of the Coronavirus pandemic
The symposium aimed to highlight the role of education as it represents one of the most significant pillars of human development, one of the human rights which is indispensable for the realization of other rights, and international conventions stipulated that it must be available to all.
