Geo-Economic Conflict and the Future of the Arab Region in a Symposium by Regional Studies Center

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, Regional Studies Center in cooperation with the Moroccan Center for International and Future Studies and the International Network for Arab Societies Study – (INASS), held the 12th International Electronic Scientific Symposium entitled (Geo-Economic Conflict and the Future of the Arab Region) on November 3, 2021.The symposium included two main central points: the first one involved the geo-economic conflict and the future of the Arab east countries. The second one dealt with the geo-economic conflict and the future of African countries.The symposium aimed at presenting the contributions of specialized local and international academic researchers and displaying their future perceptions of the Arab world in light of the escalating economic conflict, besides exploring future scenes of the conflict repercussions, in addition to searching for ways and plans to ensure the defense of the economic sovereignty of the countries of the region and engaging in global geo-economic interaction to guarantee prosperity and stability of the Arab region.
