Regional Studies Center Holds a Seminar on Extremist Parties and Movements in the US
Regional Studies Center held a seminar by Dr. “Fares Turki Al-Jubouri” entitled “Extremist parties and movements in the United States of America; the American Nazi Party as a case study”, in the presence of the Center’s researchers, on February 9, 2022.Al-Jubouri said that the research aims to shed light on the most influential American currents, especially the extremist ones, to study and analyze their ideas, the reasons for their emergence, and the environment that embraces them, and to monitor their activities and actions.The researcher added that the research includes several sections, the first of which involved “the personality of the founder (George Lincoln Rockwell)”, while the second topic dealt with “the Nazi Party (foundation and ideas)”, the third one was “the party’s activities”, and the fourth section studied “the party’s second stage”. Finally, the fifth topic covered “the dissidents from the party”.
