Regional Studies Center Holds a Seminar on Soft Power in Iranian Foreign Policy Towards Iraq
Regional Studies Center held a seminar “for the research titled “The Soft Power in Iranian Foreign Policy toward Iraq after 2003,” presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Khalaf Muhammad” on December 3, 2023.
The seminar aimed to identify Iran’s cultural, diplomatic, and economic soft power and its components in Iranian foreign policy, learn how Iran uses that power to achieve its foreign goals and orientations, and know about Iran’s goals and interests in Iraq, in addition to learning about Iranian policy towards Iraq after 2003.
The seminar included two main topics, the first of which discussed the concept of soft power and its sources, while the second topic reviewed the means and tools for employing Iranian soft power in foreign policy towards Iraq. In conclusion, the seminar witnessed interventions and discussions covering its topic.
