Regional Studies Center Holds an Educational Lecture on National Afforestation Day
Based on the initiative launched by the Prime Minister to adopt (March 12) every year (National Afforestation Day) by holding various activities in this regard, Regional Studies Center held an educational lecture on National Afforestation Day on March 12, 2024.
The lecture aimed to stress the importance of trees and how to encourage afforestation which combat climate change.
The lecture focused on methods of caring for afforestation and agriculture and working to ensure their sustainability by various means due to their economic, environmental, and aesthetic returns, through carrying out awareness campaigns that include posters and information leaflets about the importance of afforestation. In addition to holding a planting campaign inside and outside the university campus, including gardens and green areas within residential neighborhoods.
