Regional Studies Center, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, organized a scientific lecture entitled “Family Leadership in Light of Social Transformations”, presented by the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Mithaq Khairallah Jaloud, on February 23, 2025.
The lecture aimed to shed light on the increasing role being played by family leadership in the face of the complex social transformations witnessed by contemporary society. Dr. Jalloud discussed the impact of economic, cultural, and technological changes on the family structure and its role in shaping social values and practices. He also reviewed the importance of family leadership in maintaining social balance and promoting stability within families and societies.
The lecture centered on how strong family leadership influences the development of individuals and creates a healthy environment that supports positive change in society. He highlighted the importance of family education and guidance in enhancing communication within the family and ensuring an effective response to ongoing social transformations.
In conclusion, Dr. Jalloud stressed the need to enhance family awareness of the importance of effective leadership in the context of rapid social transformations, explaining that the family is the nucleus of society and the foundation of social progress.
