The Director of the Regional Studies Center held a meeting on September 6, 2026, bringing together officials from the Scientific Affairs Division and the Human Rights and Women’s Affairs Units at the Regional Studies Center to discuss mechanisms for preparing the annual plan and organizing activities and events for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year.

The meeting included a discussion of strategies aimed at advancing scientific research and aligning it with modern academic standards. It also addressed joint coordination with the Human Rights Division to promote humanitarian values and principles through university activities, in addition to reviewing initiatives and projects undertaken by the Women’s Affairs Division to strengthen its role within the academic and research environment.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director of the Center emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among all concerned units to enhance the quality of activities and programs offered, and to develop a comprehensive plan that meets the institution’s aspirations and effectively contributes to achieving its academic and societal objectives
