Regional Studies Center, in cooperation with the Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities – Mosul University, held an online workshop titled ” Coronavirus Crisis and its International Repercussions ” on the 15th of April 2020. Assist. Prof. Dr. Fawaz Muwaffaq Thanoon has engaged with a paper called “Corona’s pandemic and its implications for international relations.” In addition to the participation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ziyad Abdul-Wahab Al-Nuaimy, with a paper entitled “International Cooperation in Combating the Coronavirus Crisis: A Study on the Position of the United Nations”. The workshop was attended by some lecturers of Regional Studies Center and the History Department – College of Education for Humanities. The workshop included many discussions, analyzes, and questions over the political, economic, and humanitarian consequences of the Coronavirus crisis on international relations and providing outlook visions on the future of the international system that will arise after the end of this crisis.
