Scientific Visit to Strengthen Cooperation between History Department and Regional Studies Center
Within the framework of scientific proximity and strengthening academic cooperation: Prof. Dr. Nidal Muayyad Malallah, Prof. Dr. Kifah Abbas Ramadan, Prof. Dr. Hussein Nihad Abdulhamid, and Dr. Liqaa Fathi Abdullah from the Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences paid a scientific visit to the Center for Regional Studies on Thursday, November 28, 2024, accompanied by a group of third-stage students.
The visit aimed to enhance communication and scientific and cognitive cooperation between the two sides. The students were briefed on the nature of the center’s work and its academic activities, including reviewing the center’s library, which includes a valuable collection of books and specialized references.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Mithaq Khairallah Jalloud, Director of the Center, delivered a scientific lecture during which he reviewed the importance of the Center and its research role in studying regional issues, stressing the need to expand the horizons of cooperation between academic institutions to promote knowledge production and exchange of expertise.
