Regional Studies Center Participates in a Meeting to Promote Sustainable Development Goals at the University of Mosul
In support of efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a delegation from the Regional Studies Center participated in a coordination meeting held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, the Scientific Assistant to the President of the University of Mosul, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning.
The Center’s delegation included: Prof. Dr. Luqman Omar Al-Nuaimi, representing the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Al-Obaidi, Head of Studies and Planning, Mr. Nasir Mutlag Abdul, Head of Media and Government Communication.
The meeting focused on following up on the university’s efforts to activate the Sustainable Development Goals. Emphasis was placed on the need to expedite providing the university presidency with links to workshops and seminars related to sustainable development within the specified timeframes. Additionally, the importance of ensuring these activities have precise titles, clear objectives, and comprehensive scientific content was stressed.
This meeting is part of a series of activities carried out by the University of Mosul to enhance its contribution to achieving sustainable development in line with internationally recognized standards and orientations in this field.
