The Ninth Regular Meeting of the Center’s Board of Directors Asserts Enhancing Productivity and Scientific Partnerships

On June 23, 2025, the Center’s Board of Directors held its ninth regular meeting, attended by the chairman and members of the board, to discuss several important issues related to improving the Center’s performance and enhancing its productivity at both administrative and scientific levels.

The meeting focused on reviewing a memorandum from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers regarding increasing the productivity of public employees. Members discussed ways to implement this directive within the Center and develop a comprehensive strategy aimed at improving staff efficiency and effectiveness within a motivating work environment.

The agenda included discussions on the work of the Center’s scientific and administrative committees and ways to enhance their performance to achieve the institution’s scientific objectives. The members also deliberated on the mechanism for setting research topics for the upcoming academic year, emphasizing the importance of aligning these topics with current needs and keeping pace with scientific and regional developments.

Additionally, the Board explored opportunities to establish effective partnerships with other state institutions, given their role in supporting research and facilitating knowledge exchange. The meeting also addressed the status of the Regional Studies Journal, with members presenting various ideas and proposals to develop the journal in terms of academic content, publishing mechanisms, and distribution.

The meeting concluded with the Board members stressing the importance of diligent follow-up on the implementation of the issued recommendations and working as one team to achieve the Center’s goals and expand its scientific and administrative impact.
