Annual Book Issuance of Economic and Social Studies Department at Regional Studies Center

The Department of Economic Studies at the Regional Studies Center, University of Mosul, has released its new annual book, which includes a collection of peer-reviewed scientific papers addressing contemporary economic and administrative issues, with contributions from researchers within the university. The book’s topics cover several key areas, including:
- The Domestic Policy of George W. Bush’s Administration,
- The Power Trap and U.S. Foreign Policy: Iraq and Afghanistan as Case Studies,
- The Role of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit in Enhancing Public Asset Governance in Light of INTOSAI Standards,
- The Role of the Three Lines Model in Strengthening the Quality of Internal Auditing,
- The Shift from Cash Payments to Electronic Payments and Its Impact on Financial Security,
- The Effect of Electronic Payment Methods on Purchase Decisions – A Survey Study of a Sample of Shoppers in Mosul.
It also includes a paper in English titled:
- A Hybrid Deep Learning Model for Facial Emotion Recognition: Combining Multi-Scale Features, Dynamic Attention, and Residual Connections.
The publication of this book comes as part of the Regional Studies Center’ ongoing scientific activities aimed at promoting specialized research in economic and social issues relevant to the realities of development in Iraq and the region.
