Regional Studies Center Participates in Training Course on English Language Fundamentals for Library Staff

Mr. Ahmad Salem Mohammad, a staff member of the Regional Studies Center, participated in the training course entitled “English Language Fundamentals for Library Staff”, organized by the Continuing Education Division at the University of Mosul Central Library in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Unit and the Department of Studies and Planning at the University of Mosul Presidency. The course was held from 9–10 June 2026 at the Central Library building.

The course aimed to develop the fundamental language skills of library personnel and enhance their ability to use English effectively in the library workplace. This, in turn, contributes to improving professional communication and enabling more efficient use of academic resources, databases, and foreign-language references.

The participation of the Regional Studies Center in this training course reflects its commitment to advancing the academic and professional capabilities of its staff. It also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, through the promotion of continuous learning opportunities and capacity building, thereby contributing to improved institutional performance and the quality of academic services provided.
