Regional Studies Center Holds Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research

Regional Studies Center, through its Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning’s Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, organized a workshop entitled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research” on 27 September 2026.
The workshop aimed to enhance researchers’ skills in employing modern artificial intelligence tools throughout the various stages of scientific research, thereby improving research efficiency and the quality of academic output. It also addressed mechanisms for the responsible use of such tools, emphasizing compliance with academic integrity standards and research ethics. The workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly 4: Quality Education and 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
