The Efficiency of Digital Processing Methods in Interpreting Remote Sensing Data… A New Training Course at the Remote Sensing Center

 

As part of the efforts of the Remote Sensing Center at the University of Mosul to enhance research and application capabilities in the field of remote sensing, the center held a training course entitled “The Efficiency of Digital Processing Methods in Interpreting Remote Sensing Data.” The course ran from June 23 to 26, 2025. Assistant Professor Dr. Faten Aziz Mustafa lectured in the course, covering the basic topics related to the use of digital image processing programs, particularly the ERDAS program, which specializes in analyzing and interpreting remote sensing data. The course also included advanced practical applications aimed at enhancing participants’ proficiency in handling spatial data to serve environmental and planning objectives.
