Remote Sensing Center Organizes a Workshop on the Mechanisms for Marketing Scientific Outputs

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Remote Sensing Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Ramzi Quba, the Remote Sensing Center organized a workshop entitled “Mechanisms for Marketing Scientific Outputs” on Wednesday, 14 January 2026.
The workshop included a specialized lecture delivered by Dr. Rayan Salem Mahmoud, Head of the Scientific Outputs Marketing Division at the University Presidency, along with Ms. Shaimaa Bashar Ali, Assistant Chief Programmer at the Remote Sensing Center. The speakers highlighted contemporary concepts in marketing scientific outputs and discussed mechanisms for transforming research outcomes into applicable and investable products. This approach aligns with the University’s strategic orientation toward supporting scientific research, strengthening partnerships between academic institutions and society, and improving university rankings.
The workshop was attended by all faculty members and researchers of the Center and featured constructive scientific discussions that focused on the challenges facing the marketing of scientific research outputs, including administrative and procedural constraints, as well as possible solutions. Participants emphasized the importance of such workshops in raising awareness and clarifying the mechanisms for marketing scientific, research, and service-oriented outputs produced by the Center.
