Remote Sensing Center Launches “Python Boot Camp – Level 1” Training Course

The Remote Sensing Center at the University of Mosul launched the training course entitled (Python Boot Camp – Level 1)on Sunday, 21 June 2026, as part of its programs aimed at developing technical skills and enhancing programming competencies among staff members and students.

The course was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Abeer Adel, a faculty member at the Center. The first day of the training program introduced participants to the fundamentals of the Python programming language, its general structure, and its major applications in data analysis and computational processing. The program also included practical exercises designed to reinforce core concepts through hands-on implementation.

This course is conducted within the framework of the Center’s research and training plan and forms part of a series of regular capacity-building activities organized by the Center. These activities aim to strengthen digital skills and promote the adoption of modern technologies in the fields of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
