Remote Sensing Center

The Remote Sensing Center participated in the scientific exhibition held on the sidelines of the Annual Sustainable Development Festival at the University of Mosul on Monday, April 21, 2025. Several colleges, research centers, and development-oriented institutions participated.

The center’s participation included a special pavilion, where the center’s projects, activities, and scientific research achievements were presented, presented in percentages and according to the 17 international goals for sustainable development. Several maps produced by the center’s staff were also displayed, in addition to innovative devices used for scientific purposes in the soil laboratory, which were made from recycled materials. The center’s pavilion was visited by the university president and received great interaction from visitors and attendees. This exhibition is part of the university’s activities aimed at spreading a culture of sustainability and encouraging academic and community circles to adopt innovative solutions that meet present-day requirements and preserve future resources
