In this laboratory, a range of properties of terrestrial objects are measured at wavelengths within the spectral range (350-2500 nm), or at any specific spectral range within the spectral range of the RS3 spectrometer, a versatile field and laboratory spectrometer for geological applications (detection of mineral and rock properties), agricultural and vegetation species and conditions, and soil and water properties and types, in order to determine the spectral response pattern of these objects.
