The Remote Sensing Center Holds an Awareness Seminar Titled “A Touch Creates, a Touch Saves”

On the occasion of Challenge Month in October, and under the slogan “A Touch Creates, a Touch Saves,” the Women’s Affairs Committee at the Remote Sensing Center, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University Presidency and the University Health Center, held an awareness seminar on risk factors for breast diseases and cancer on Wednesday, 22/10/2025.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Fanar Fadel Khalil, Senior Specialist and Head of the Early Detection Unit for Breast Cancer, who discussed the significance of genetic and health-related risk factors, the role of early detection in identifying breast diseases, and preventive measures. The session also emphasized raising health awareness among women and ways to empower them in facing these conditions.
This seminar aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 5: Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment.
