Developed countries have realized this fact and have invested a lot of time and money in the development of modern technologies of analyzing, collecting and archiving data in various applications to meet the needs of their societies now and in the future. Remote sensing technology is defined as an advanced means of collecting geospatial information and extracting information about the features of the Earth’s surface and its natural resources using modern technologies such as airborne and space-based sensor systems.
