The Department of Scientific Affairs at the University of Mosul Presidency Holds a Scientific Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in the Research Laboratory.

In its pursuit of developing scientific research in the humanities and employing modern technologies to serve researchers, the University of Mosul’s Scientific Affairs Department held a workshop on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, entitled “Artificial Intelligence in the Research Laboratory: Advanced Tools and Applications to boost and Formulate Master’s and Doctoral Theses in the Humanities.”
The workshop, attended by postgraduate students from various colleges within the university, dealt with the mechanisms for employing artificial intelligence tools in researching previous studies, arranging references, analyzing texts, and formulating ideas professionally and with scientific integrity.
The workshop also included practical applications on methods for enhancing academic writing and promoting theoretical and methodological frameworks by making use of smart tools.
The workshop aimed at empowering researchers to effectively integrate artificial intelligence tools into the writing and analysis stages while maintaining standards of originality and scientific citation, thereby contributing to raising the quality of research and facilitating the completion of research tasks.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Khalid Sabri, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department; Assistant Professor Dr. Faten Aziz Mustafa, Head of the Scientific Research Support Unit; Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Rakan; and Engineer Hassan Basil Dhunoun.
