The Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences Honours Its Creative Staff Members

The Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Professor Dr Manal Raafat Khalid, honoured Prof. Dr Alaa Abdullah Hussein, a faculty member in the Department of Tourism Studies, by presenting her with a Letter of Appreciation on the occasion of her victory in the short story competition category for her literary work addressing the human tragedies in Nineveh during the period of ISIS occupation.
This recognition recognises her literary creativity and efforts in documenting the humanitarian suffering in the province.

The Dean also presented a Letter of Appreciation to Mr Abdulalim Mohammed Saeed, Head of the Citizens Affairs Unit at the college, in recognition of his distinguished participation as a representative of the college’s senior staff in the activities of the Youth Leadership Preparation Camp held in Istanbul, Turkey. His active contribution and outstanding efforts greatly supported the success of these activities.
