Participation of the Hospitality Studies Department in a Scientific Conference
A new academic activity has been added to the series of activities of the Hospitality Studies Department under the guidance and support of the College Dean, Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud. The following faculty members of the department participated in the third conference on Administrative and Legal Sciences at Knowledge University:
– ِAsst.Prof.Dr. Manal Abdul Jabbar Al-Sammak, Head of the Department.
– Asst.Lec.Heba Khaled Bakr, Department Coordinator.
– Asst.Lec.Rana Khair al-Din.
Their participation in the conference, held in Erbil on 16-17/4/2024, included two research papers. The first paper was titled “The Role of Authentic Leadership in Enhancing the Switch Approach,” while the other paper was titled “Creative Leadership and its Impact on Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.”
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Manal Al-Sammak chaired one of the conference sessions and presented a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which were: adopting authentic leadership and the Switch approach within university policies and linking them to overarching goals in the fields of scientific research and leadership, while disseminating modern management concepts.
The conference concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the participating gentlemen in recognition of their effective contribution.
