Workshop on the Bologna Process Educational System

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Asst.Prof. Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, the College of Tourism Sciences held a workshop titled “The Bologna Process Educational Path,” presented by Dr. Omar Moafaq Mahmoud, a faculty member from the College of Engineering – Department of Electrical Engineering, on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
Dr. Omar provided an in-depth explanation of the Bologna System, highlighting its key features and related regulations. He discussed methods for implementing the system, adapting study plans to its requirements, and training faculty on its principles. The workshop emphasized its role in enhancing student skills, preparing them for the labour market, and aligning educational outcomes with global standards.
The workshop was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Asan Hashim Hamdoun, Head of the Tourism Studies Department, along with other faculty members.
In conclusion, the Dean expressed his gratitude to Dr. Omar for his efforts in organizing the workshop.
