The lecture discussed the importance of women learning the principles of driving as an effective step toward enhancing their independence and enabling them to move freely and confidently, thereby supporting their active participation in daily and professional life. It also emphasized the role of driving education in protecting women from unsafe transportation risks and granting them the ability to rely on themselves to reach their destinations safely—away from the dangers associated with public transport or dependency on others.
This activity is part of the College of Tourism Sciences’ ongoing efforts to support women’s empowerment and promote safety skills, in line with Goal 3 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Good Health and Well-being. By enhancing safety during mobility and reducing potential risks, this activity supports women’s empowerment and promotes safety skills.
