The College of Tourism Sciences Continues Its Course on Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision and presence of Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, the College continued for the third consecutive day its training course entitled “Legislation and Laws on Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption and Their Impact on the Development of the Tourism Sector.”

The course, organized by the Legal Affairs Division in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College, is part of the program aimed at developing the capacities of faculty members and staff in the field of promoting integrity and transparency.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Lect. Dr. Zahraa Hisham Ibrahim delivered her lecture titled “The Role of Citizenship in Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption.” The lecture discussed the importance of national awareness and social responsibility in reducing corruption and encouraging behaviours that foster public trust in institutions.

This course aligns with the College’s efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), which seeks to promote effective, accountable, and transparent institutions.
