2. Purpose / Objectives

  • Increase female enrollment rates in higher education.

  • Ensure equal opportunities in admission, academic support, and campus participation.

  • Empower women to achieve academic success and contribute effectively to university life.

  • Promote an educational and professional environment that upholds gender equality.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all:

  • Students (male and female).

  • Faculty members and staff.

  • Academic, administrative, and community-related university activities.

4. Principles / Commitments

  1. Equality: Guarantee equal opportunities between genders in admission and participation.

  2. Sustainable Support: Provide services and programs that facilitate women’s access to and continuation in education.

  3. Empowerment: Encourage female students and staff to develop their skills and strengthen their academic and professional leadership.

  4. Accountability and Transparency: Publish periodic reports on progress in enhancing women’s participation.

  5. Inclusivity: Respect diversity and eliminate all forms of gender-based discrimination.

5. Procedures / Implementation Mechanisms

  • Awareness Campaigns: Organize outreach events in schools and communities to encourage girls to pursue higher education.

  • Special Admission Programs: Allocate additional opportunities for female students in underrepresented fields (e.g., STEM).

  • Academic Support: Provide tutoring, counseling sessions, and targeted financial aid for female students.

8. Periodic Review

This policy shall be reviewed every two years, or as needed, to ensure alignment with national and international standards and best practices in higher education.
