Meeting of the Water Harvesting Committee in Nineveh Governorate
Prof. Dr. Qutaiba Tawfiq Al-Yuzbaki, a faculty member at our Center, participated in the meeting of the Water Harvesting Committee, which was held at the Nineveh Governorate Office on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in his capacity as a committee member.
The meeting was held under the patronage of the Governor of Nineveh, in coordination with the Research and Development Department of the Governorate, and was attended by committee members, representatives of state institutions concerned with water resources, as well as a delegation from UNOPS.
The meeting discussed the most prominent projects proposed by committee members, aiming to improve water resources management in the governorate. It was agreed to prioritize these projects according to their strategic importance in order to ensure optimal utilization of water resources in both civil and agricultural sectors.
