Dams Researches and Water Resources Center

Within the activities of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the University of Mosul, at the Dams and Water Resources Research Center, and as the date of the Council of Representatives elections on November 11, 2025 approaches, Iraqi women are presented with a pivotal opportunity to contribute to decision-making and to shape policies that affect their lives and the life of their society.

The active presence of Iraqi women on voting day is not limited to merely choosing representatives; rather, it is a declaration of their determination to be key partners in shaping the future. Broad participation by Iraqi women means a parliament that is more diverse and just, and policies that respond to the needs of all segments of society.
