Participation of the Director of the Dams and Water Resources Research Center in a Master’s Thesis Defense
Assistant Professor Dr. Yousif Hashim Abdullah, the respected Director of the Center, participated in the defense of a Master’s thesis at the Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering / College of Engineering on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in his capacity as a member of the examination committee and the primary supervisor of the thesis.
The student Ridhwan Ghazi Suleiman Al-Kassar presented his thesis entitled:
“Simulation of Groundwater Level Responses to Water Demand in the City of Erbil as a Result of Population Growth.”
This participation comes within the framework of the Center’s scientific role in supporting the academic and research journey of the University’s colleges, and in contributing to the supervision of rigorous and specialized research in dams and water resources engineering, in a manner that enhances the University’s standing in graduate studies and applied scientific research.
