Dams Researches and Water Resources Center

As part of its Women Affairs activities, the Center organized a workshop entitled:
“Women and Climate Justice: Partnership for a Better Future,”
aimed at highlighting the active role of women in addressing climate challenges and promoting environmental justice concepts.

The workshop was presented by Ms. Daad Ahmed, Women Affairs liaison at the Center, in cooperation with the Women Affairs Unit at the University Presidency. It covered topics related to climate justice and its social dimensions, emphasizing the importance of involving women in shaping environmental solutions and supporting their participation in achieving sustainable development.

Several staff members of the Center participated in the workshop, exchanging ideas and experiences on environmental issues linked to women’s roles, which contributed to raising awareness about the integration of environmental and social aspects in development pathways.

This workshop is part of a series of events organized by the Center to support women affairs, promoting a culture of social responsibility and contributing to building a fairer and more sustainable future.
