Mosul University and Martin Luther University, Germany, Organize the 6th International Scientific Conference on Sustainable Education and Artificial Intelligence Transformations

 

As part of its efforts to enhance international academic cooperation and support the progress of scientific research, Mosul University, in partnership with Martin Luther University, Germany, organized the 6th International Scientific Conference, held in Trabzon, Turkey, from November 3 to 5, 2025. The conference featured participation from researchers from Iraqi, Arab, and Turkish universities.

The conference was held under the theme:
“A Future Vision for Sustainable Higher Education in Iraq Towards Building Universities Capable of Meeting Sustainable Development Goals in Light of Artificial Intelligence Transformations.”

The conference was organized by the College of Basic Education and the College of Education for Humanities at Mosul University, with Professor Dr. Saad Ramadan Mohammed and Mr. Mohammed Younis Al-Jarisi leading the delegations from the two colleges.

The conference sessions included research presentations and various scientific discussions covering topics related to higher education, the application of artificial intelligence in educational development, and strategies to achieve sustainability in higher education institutions.

The conference aimed to analyze the current state of higher education in Iraq in light of sustainable development requirements, explore the potential of artificial intelligence to improve the quality of education and scientific research, and strengthen international academic partnerships and the exchange of expertise with global universities. This contributes to building a robust educational system that aligns with modern scientific and technological transformations.

The organization of this conference reaffirms Mosul University’s approach to international openness and collaborative scientific efforts, as well as its ongoing commitment to solidifying its academic standing among leading universities in research and sustainable development.
