Affirming Its Legacy and the Prominence of Its Graduates: President of the University of Mosul Meets His Excellency the President of the Republic in an Atmosphere of Pride and Honor

 

In a renewed affirmation that the University of Mosul is not only an academic institution, but also a cradle for decision-makers and national leaders, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, paid an official visit to the capital, Baghdad, where he met with His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Nizar Amidi.

The meeting, marked by a deep sense of pride and sentiment, recalled the history of the University’s distinguished halls. His Excellency the President of the Republic expressed his profound pride and honor in being one of the graduates who drew knowledge from this prestigious academic institution.

In a thoughtful and touching gesture by the Presidency of the University, Professor Dr. Al-Ibrahimi presented His Excellency the President of the Republic with a commemorative plaque bearing his graduation photo with his classmates. This moment embodied the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging, reviving memories of years of dedication and hard work in the classrooms and laboratories of the University of Mosul, particularly the College of Engineering.

As part of the University Presidency’s keenness to improve the service and urban landscape of the university campus, the President of the University submitted an official request to pave and resurface all roads across the University of Mosul.

Driven by his deep sense of belonging to the “Mother of the Two Springs” and its university, His Excellency the President of the Republic responded immediately to the implementation of the project and pledged to adopt it and remove all obstacles to its completion.
