Accounting Department held its scientific seminar tagged «Accounting for social and environmental performance of business organizations reality and ambition» on Thursday, 28/11/2019 and in the hall of the Scientific and Literary Forum. The symposium was opened with verses from the Holy Quran by Dr. Haitham Hashim,, a lecturer in the accounting department, Then followed by a valuable speech from the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Brahimi, in which he spoke about the importance of the symposium, communication with the outside world and scientific openness to universities and foreign containers through the dissemination of scientific research for teachers in the containers of Scopus and thus raise the scientific assessment at the Arab and international levels.
This was followed by a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Environment and technologies, in which he commended the importance of the symposium and the sponsors of the various committees and the Deanship of the Faculty of Administration and Economics and the Department of Accounting
Then, a video was produced by the Media and Public Relations Division at the Faculty of Administration and Economics explaining information about the accounting department, its outputs, its importance and its objectives.
Then, the Dean of the College Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Ramo and the members of the Scientific Committee were honored by the President of Mosul University, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaluddin Al-Ahmadi with certificates of appreciation
The symposium included two sessions, the first session started under the chairmanship of Prof.Dr. Ziad Hashim Al-Saqa and the headquarters .Dr. Riad Abdullah Fathi
