The Department of Management Information Systems at the Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The Role of Information Technology Capabilities in Enhancing Organizational Improvisation: A Survey Study in the Northern Region Power Plant”The current study presented by the student “Sarmad Wasmi Yaseen Mohammed” in the Department of Management Information Systems, aimed to diagnose the role of information technology in promoting organizational improvisation in gas power plants in the northern region and as a result of the work of organizations in turbulent environments organizational improvisation has become increasingly important in complex business environments where decision-making in conditions of high environmental uncertainty
The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which were: There is an increasingly important relationship between the capabilities of information technology and organizational improvisation, which contributes to enhancing the capabilities of stations in providing their services. The discussion committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Fattah Mahmoud Al-Shaher, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Huda Abdul Rahim Hussein, and Assistant Professor Dr. Noor Khalil Ibrahim from the University of Baghdad, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Hussein.
