Master Thesis in the Department of Finance and Banking Discusses “The Impact of Financial Innovation on Banking Competitiveness An Analytical Study of a Sample of Arab Banks with Reference to Iraq”.
The Department of Finance and Banking Sciences at the Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul discussed on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, the master’s thesis tagged “The impact of financial innovation on banking competitiveness An analytical study of a sample of Arab banks with reference to Iraq”
The study presented by the student Diaa Nizar Thanoun Daoud aims to show the impact of financial innovation on banking competitiveness through dealing with new financial instruments in addition to innovative service technologies, and his use of the study Evews10 program and reliance on the method of panel data time series in analyzing the impact of financial innovations in banking competitiveness for the sample of banks in the Arab countries and for the period from (2011 – 2020) for six Arab countries, including Iraq.The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Salam Gesture Saeed from the University of Baghdad, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Sobhi Al-Abbasi from Al-Hadba University College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Zahra Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Thanoun Al-Shukraji.
