The Department of Accounting at the Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul discussed on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 … the doctoral thesis entitled “A proposed model for auditing sustainable performance under the integrated reporting of self-funded Iraqi government units”.

Part of discussion was attended by Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman, Dean of the College.This study submitted by the student “Shaimaa Mohammed Samir Ibrahim” in the Department of Accounting, seeks to shed light on the concept of sustainability and sustainable performance, and to introduce what sustainable performance auditing is and its importance at the level of the economy and the government unit, and to indicate the requirements of the service of auditing sustainable performance, appropriate standards and the role of the auditor in giving confidence and credibility to integrated reporting and at the applied level.The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sirwan Karim Issa from Salahuddin University and with the membership of Prof. Dr. Luqman Mohammed Ayoub, Prof. Dr. Fayha Abdullah Yacoub from the University of Baghdad / Higher Institute of Financial and Accounting Studies, Prof. Dr. Wissam Naama Hussein from the University of Tikrit and Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Wahid Thanoun and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Fayha Abdul Khaleq Yahya.
