Master’s thesis in the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences discusses “Portfolio foreign investment and its impact on stock market performance indicators – a study in a sample of Arab financial markets.
The Department of Banking and Financial Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Sunday 20 November 2022, the master’s thesis entitled “Portfolio Foreign Investment and its Impact on Securities Market Performance Indicators – A Study in a Sample of Arab Financial Markets”.
The study presented by the student “Wissam Khaled Jamil Moussa” aims to measure and analyze the impact of portfolio foreign investment and some macroeconomic variables (inflation rate – exchange rate – interest rate) in the performance indicators of the stock market (general index of stock prices – trading volume index – market value index – financial depth index) in Iraq, Oman and Qatar Securities Exchange.The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Bashar Ahmed Al-Iraqi, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Jamal Hadash Muhammad from the University of Tikrit and Assistant Professor Dr. Namir Amir Al-Sayegh, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Doaa Noman Al-Husseini.
