The Department of Banking and Financial Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Monday 26 December 2022 the master’s thesis tagged “The impact of diversification policy on the returns and risks of commercial banks: a study in a sample of banks operating in Arab countries”
The study presented by the student Ammar Elias Ahmed Hussein aims to test the relationship and impact of the diversification policy in the loan portfolio on the returns and risks of Arab commercial banks. The study sample included (33) commercial banks for the period (2010-2020), and the problem of the study was that there is no clear relationship between the diversification policy, returns and risks, despite the fact that many researchers and writers addressed this relationship in their research.The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Thanoun Al-Shakarji, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Hassan Khader from the Technical Institute / Hawija, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Doaa Noman Al-Husseini, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Saja Fathi Muhammad
