Master’s thesis in the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences discusses “The possibility of privatizing the electricity sector in Iraq: an analytical study of the possibilities and challenge”.
The Department of Banking and Financial Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Tuesday 24 January 2022, the master’s thesis tagged “The possibility of privatizing the electricity sector in Iraq: an analytical study of the possibilities and challenges”.
The study presented by the student “Ahmed Abd Salem Mohamed” aims to present the most prominent concepts and developments in the subject of privatization and the statement of its forms and methods of application, and the most prominent international experiences in privatization, and the role of privatization in economic development, and the study also presented the most important concepts and divisions of financial markets in general and the role of those markets in the privatization process, and this came due to the dependence of some methods of privatization on financial markets and the extent of their progress and efficiency.The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Uday Salem Ali, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Khader Abtan and Assistant Professor Dr. Zervan Abdul Mohsen Asaad from the University of Duhok, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Naif Mahmoud from the Faculty of Tourism Sciences.
