The University of Mosul hosted on Monday, February 20, 2023, in the Scientific and Literary Forum a scientific workshop for Al-Taif Islamic Bank in Mosul in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq, Mosul branch, to explain the banking services provided by the bank to customers and provide the best offers in financing construction and restoration for employees whose salaries are domiciled and whose salaries are not domiciled and those with free income (owners of companies and projects)
The workshop also touched on protecting the rights of depositors and encouraging savings in a way that enhances financial and economic inclusion in Iraq, enhances public confidence in the banking sector, enhances the protection of depositors’ funds and rights, enhances financial and economic stability, and the need to educate the public about the deposit guarantee system in accordance with the laws and instructions in force.
The workshop was also attended by Dr. Hussein Lazem Mazban, Director of Mosul Branch / Central Bank of Iraq.
