The study aimed … Which was presented by the student “Muslim Qasim Hassan” in the Department of Economics in measuring the impact of monetary policy shocks on investment for the sample countries Iraq, Egypt and Turkey for the period 1990-2020, where it includes monetary policy shocks. Money supply shock, interest rate shock and exchange rate shock, and that these shocks vary in their impact on investment in the sample countries.

The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which were: 1- Monetary policy in the sample countries suffers from instability in decision-making as a result of global crises, as well as political interventions, by local governments.
2- Monetary policy shocks in the sample countries had a short-term impact more than the long term.
3- The impact of money supply shocks was the most influential on domestic and foreign direct investment, with the exception of Iraq.
4- The exchange rate shock had a major role in the fluctuations of local and foreign investment.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Bashar Ahmed Abdul Razzaq Al-Iraqi, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Samir Fakhri Nehme from the University of Zakho, Faculty of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Saadoun Hussein Farhan, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Khader Abtan, Assistant Professor Dr. Saraa Salem Daoud, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Aws Fakhr El-Din Ayoub.
