The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Dynamic cognitive abilities and their role in enhancing strategic foresight among university leaders: an analytical study at the University of Mosul”.
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current study submitted by the student “Afaf Ahmed Majeed” in the Department of Business Administration aimed to know the role of dynamic cognitive abilities in their dimensions represented in (learning abilities, communication abilities, cultural abilities, creative abilities) in strategic foresight with its dimensions represented in (environmental survey, integration, strategic choice), and represents the field of study at the University of Mosul and the study was applied to a sample (stratified intentionally) by (208) respondents from the academic leaders at the University of Mosul, represented by members of the University Council and members of college councils.
The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, with the use of the questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data related to the field aspect, as well as conducting personal interviews,
The study reached conclusions, most notably: the existence of a correlation and moral impact and at the macro and micro levels of dynamic cognitive abilities in strategic foresight.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Sattar Al-Hafez, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Fattah Al-Shaher, and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Khalil Ibrahim from Maysan University, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Safaa Idris Aboudi.
