The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the higher diploma tagged “The role of using maintenance policy in reducing the environmental effects of private generators in the city of Mosul / an exploratory study

The current study sought … Which was submitted by the student “Aswan Mohamed Ali Mahmoud” in the Department of Industrial Management, to determine the nature of the relationship between maintenance policies (preventive maintenance, curative maintenance) and the negative environmental effects resulting from the operation of private generators in the city of Mosul for the purpose of generating electrical power to fill the shortage in national electrical energy and the operation of private generators results from many negative environmental effects.

The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that the use of maintenance policies (preventive and curative ) correctly and scientifically by the owners of generators is not at the required level and thus the cause of the emergence of many environmental problems associated with the process of generating electric power through private generators.
The discussion committee was headed by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Raad Adnan Raouf, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Mr. Riyad Jamil Wahab.
