The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Strategic thinking and its role in reducing emotional attrition: an exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of workers in the Directorate of Municipalities of Nineveh Governorate”.
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.
The current study presented by the student “Mohamed Salem Sultan” in the Department of Business Administration aimed to reveal the role of strategic thinking in its dimensions represented in (systems perspective, focus on intention, thinking at the right time, seizing smart opportunities, orientation by hypothesis) in reducing emotional attrition represented in its dimensions (emotional work, work pressure, bullying in the workplace, conflict between work and family).

The study reached conclusions, most notably: the existence of a correlation and moral impact and at the macro and micro levels of strategic thinking in reducing emotional attrition and these results were identical with the hypotheses in this aspect.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Maan Waad Allah Jarallah, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Hatem Ali Abdullah from the University of Tikrit, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hussein Al-Jarjari, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Maysoon Abdullah Ahmed.
